From Heather & Janelle (Marlie & Morgan): "Megan is an amazing trainer of dogs - and their owners! She combines an in-depth knowledge of “doggy language” with the fundamentals of obedience training. She developed a training plan specific to our two dogs and their issues- and we have seen tremendous changes in our dogs. She worked with each dog in their trouble areas individually, and worked with the dogs together- showing us how to help our fearful dog overcome her fear and barking, and how to turn our tugging boxer into a charm on the leash. I can’t stop raving about her training services and I plan on continuing to work with her in the future to create the dream dogs we want!"
From Jamie: "My Boston Terrier Campbell and I had such a wonderful experience with Megan! She was terrific with both of us and had such great common sense advice to give. I felt very comfortable asking her questions, she never once made me feel like my questions were stupid. My dog is getting better every day with her training and obedience thanks to Megan's wonderful advice. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing dog/people training. :)"
From Elizabeth: "My experience with Megan and Full Pawtential was extremely rewarding and constructive. I understand my dog now and the motivations behind her behavior. Every training session I walked away with more knowledge and better understanding. The great thing was Dollie (my dog) really enjoyed our weekly visits with Megan as well. All of Megan's training is positive and reinforcement, nothing negative. Dollie is beaming with confidence now and a lot of her anxious habits have calmed. What I really loved is that Megan worked with me as well, it was as much for me as it was for Dollie. I have the tools I need to ensure that my Dollie has the structure and leader she needs. Megan was also such a dream to work with, there is not a doubt in my mind that she loves what she does and is also fabulous at it. Now that our training is done, Dollie and I continue to use what Megan gave us, and it is continually improving our life together. I'm actually really thankful I found Megan and Full Pawtential, Dollie's behavoir was not something I could have cured on my own, and it would have continued to get worse, only at Dollie's discomfort and stress. Megan and Full Pawtential are the best in my eyes, Full Pawtential is Fully Pawsatively, the Best!
From Nicole: "We have been enforcing the nilif philosophy and it has worked wonders already. Indi, our female pit mix who was the alpha, is finally starting to come around and mind her own business. Although the first few days were REALLY hard, she is sooo stubborn. But we stuck with it and she is starting to catch on. Irie our pit seems happier as well, he doesn't seem so shy. Even Kiwi our mini doxie is lightening up a little. And the puppy is really getting his commands down.. I work with him a couple times a day and so far he has sit, down, roll over, and we are working on his stay. We have been working on all the dogs' commands with little individual training sessions. Irie went to k9 boot camp so he was trained the negative way but he much rather prefers the new positive way. He is a lot more responsive and his tail wags a lot more. Once again thanks for your help. We are looking forward to having 4 very well behaved and trained dogs."
From Mike: "Megan did a great job with our 6 month old Goldendoodle, Holly. Megan communicate well with us, gave us updates during the 2 weeks she had our puppy (including emailed pictures), and spent time with us at the end of the training to "train us". She addressed all of our concerns and at the end of the 2 weeks, we were returned a well behaved puppy. I would highly recommend Megan for anyone looking for training help with their dog. Her approach was very logical and positive, there was no harsh training tactics and the results are amazing."From (anonymous): "Having heard of Meghan through Craiglist, I wish I had contacted her sooner. It was the unexpected addition of a 3rd pooch that sent our pack over the edge. She had so many great ideas about getting in control of my 2 pugs and dachshund. We can already see more calmness and control in the worst offender, Skittles, by using just a few of Meghan's professional and firm advice."
From Jackie: "I had taken my dog to two sets of classes at the local big box pet store. Though the classes were helpful and my dog did learn and can now perform several basic commands, the commands he learned for heel and lose leash walking never carried forward from the controlled environment of the store to the actual environment of the outdoors. Trent remained a strong puller on leash.
I either was going to stop walking Trent or I knew I needed to get some help. I contacted Megan with Full Pawtential. Megan arrived promptly at my home at the scheduled time. We sat and talked first as Megan gathered information and observed Trent. Megan explained different kinds of training collars. After selecting one, we set off for the outdoors. Immediately Megan was able to assess my problem. She demonstrated techniques to stop Trent from pulling and then observed me while I tried out the techniques. It was extremely helpful having Megan coaching me along as Trent and I learned to walk together without Trent pulling me.
In addition, Megan offered helpful suggestions that would settle Trent down before we even left the house so that he would be more controllable on walks. I was able to see improvement in Trent's walking behavior in the short time that Megan worked with us.
I appreciated that Megan was not judgmental about my dog's behavior and could tell that her primary goal was to help both Trent and I in any way she could to have a more enjoyable time walking. "
From Sandy: "Megan makes learning fun for both the dog and the owner. I understand my dog's behavior and his motivations so much better now. What a difference this insight makes in my relationships with my dogs. Take a class from Megan and you to will see the difference in your dog!"
